GIVEAWAY: Shaded With Love Birthday Fun

As most of you know by now, June 18th is a big day for us here! Not only is it the day I came into the world, but it’s also the day E L James decided Christian Grey would be born, too! Fun, right? I absolutely love sharing a birthday with our favorite, twitchy-palmed book boyfriend, and as such, I’ve put together a fun giveaway to celebrate our birthdays!

One lucky commenter on this post will win a copy of the adult coloring book, Shaded With Love Volume 2, and a set of colored pencils! All you have to do is comment below with a memory from your childhood! Who else colored those color-by-number pages growing? *raises hand* Did anyone else feel like a rebel when coloring with a different color than suggested? *raises hand*

My awesome Love in the City themed page in Shaded With Love Volume 2:

Good Luck!

Thank you so much for following me and my writing career, and subscribing to my website. Your loyalty and support mean the most. Please feel free to share this post with your book friends! I also have some giveaways going on in my Nuss Navy group on Facebook, so be sure to join in on the fun over there, too!

Happy Fun Day Sunday! I’m off to consume ice cream cake for all of my meals today!

Seven 11 Blog Hop: Naked

Seven 11 blog hop

Happy Saturday, everyone! It’s Seven 11 Blog Hop day, and I’m so thrilled to share a teaser from Tessa and Justin’s story, Cherished By You (Love in the City, #4)! I’ve had so much fun writing them! I promise to have a definite release date for the book and preorder links soon (once I actually finish writing it)! Stay tune for all that good stuff; I will post it here first! For now, enjoy a glimpse into their story:

Standing before me with the towel still knotted at his waist, the boyish grin on his face grew. “Shower’s all yours.”

“Thanks,” I noted, fully composed.

“No problem.” He started toward his room, but stopped halfway down the hall and glanced over his shoulder. “Do you mind me asking, what were you doing?”

I crossed my arms over my robe and shrugged nonchalantly. “Just dancing.”

“Naked?” he asked curiously, delighting in my discomfort. “In the apartment?”

Love in Awareness

The awesome thing about being an artist is using your gift or your art for good.

That’s one of the best things about being a writer–millions of people read your words and take something from them.

That’s also why I believe in not only telling a great love story, but also supporting a variety of causes in doing so. In the My Kind of Lover series, I have designed each plot around two lovers and their love story. The lovers, either individually or together, become advocates to certain causes because they’ve either personally been impacted or know of somebody or something that has been which causes them to bring awareness to you, the readers, by showing their support to such causes. You’ll see throughout the series how each book brings awareness to certain charities like Susan G. Komen for the Cure or March of Dimes or the Special Olympics just to name a few. Each book has some cause it hopes to bring awareness to.

It’s my goal as a writer to use the passion I have to help those in need because my voice can be heard through my stories, and I hope all of you take something special away from the lovers, their story, and their support for their causes.
