Who doesn’t love teasers and giveaways? I haven’t posted since 2014, and I’m so excited to kickoff the new year with a Seven 11 Blog Hop post! If you’re new to my blog, the Seven 11 Blog Hop is where a group of authors post seven lines from their current work-in-progress or previously published work. It’s a fun way to get a glimpse at new authors as well as a sneak peek from those authors you already enjoy! So, please check out my teaser from Pleasured By You (Love in the City, #3), add it to your Goodreads if you haven’t yet, and then check out the authors listed below for their teasers and giveaways!

“So you have a toothbrush here now?” I asked curiously, in my least bitchiest tone. But that was my bathroom. How could I not notice his things starting to takeover? Okay, it was just a toothbrush but still. What’s next? His clothes needing a drawer? His guy things taking up half of my closet? No. Not happening.

“No,” he said, smiling back at me. “This is your toothbrush.”

“WHAT!” Jumping out of bed, I ran to the bathroom, pulled the brush out of his hands and noticed the pink and white handle, indicating it was in fact my toothbrush that he was using on his perfectly straight, pearly whites. “Why the hell are you using my toothbrush?! That is so gross!”

#GIVEAWAY Merry Bookmas: Steph’s Six Days of Christmas

Happy Holidays, everyone!

This December, I’ve teamed up with six bloggers who have been with me from the very beginning to do a Christmas giveaway for all of you. Even before my first book came out, these girls were cheering me on and helping spread the word about me and my Love in the City series. They’ve put me in touch with so many other bloggers and readers I’ve become friends with now, too. They’ve made teaser pics and hosted giveaways for me. They’ve been involved with blog tours and my series tour. They’ve helped give me insight to New York City (the setting of the Love in the City series) since I live in Kansas and have yet to visit! They’ve beta read for me. They’ve left honest, beautiful reviews for both books that put a smile on my face. Simply put, they’ve taken time out of their busy lives to take a chance on me and my books, to promote them without asking for anything in return. They’ve seriously made 2014 a great year for me.

So, as a way to say thank you for all their support and to give back, I’ve given each blog a signed paperback set of the first two books in the Love in the City series to give away to their followers (Wanted By You & Fantasized By You). I’m so excited to be part of the Seven 11 Blog Hop, and today marks our first hop! Eleven authors, including myself, are doing this blog hop where on the 11th of each month we post seven lines from one of our writing projects. It can be a published piece or a piece we’re currently working on. And since the first book in my Love in the City series, Wanted By You, is currently *FREE* on iBooks and Amazon for a limited time, I’ve decided to share seven lines from Carter and Ellyson’s story:

“The old wooden door creaked as it opened and a familiar sensation swept over me, making every nerve in my body stand up in alert and my teeth pull at my bottom lip. The beat in my chest thumped louder and louder, rattling every bone in my body, boiling every ounce of blood running through my system like a volcano getting ready to erupt.

And then I felt it again.

The fluttering from within.

The notorious butterflies that I hadn’t felt in the past five years were back, and only one guy had that kind of magic.”

The second book in the Love in the City series, Fantasized By You, releases on July 14th, so now is the perfect time to start the series if you haven’t yet! The series follows a group of friends looking for love in the city and each book is about a different couple, but you will continue to read about the whole gang in each book. I love them all too much to leave any of them out!
