Yes, you read the title of this post correctly; I’m baaaaack! First, thank you all so much for being patient with me over the last eight years. I’m beyond grateful to you, my readers, who have waited way too long for the last Love in the City book, but I promise, the wait will be over soon! Changed By You (LITC, #7), Cash Donovan’s story, is FINALLY done! My editor will start on it this week! I’ll be sharing the release date and preorder link soon (September 2nd, to be exact)! The release will be Fall 2026! I’m both excited and nervous about it because it’s the series finale; it absolutely cannot suck! We’ve all watched a beloved TV show for several seasons where the finale totally bombs, and that is the last thing I want for Cash’s story and the rest of the Love in the City gang.
With the excitement and nerves comes an insane amount of pride. I’m so happy with the Love in the City gang and how I’ve progressed all of the couples and their stories. The whole gang will be involved in Cash’s story, as well as his parents and his ridiculously hilarious sisters (the Donovan Family text threads are one ribbing after another). You’ll also get to know more about the Wilkins Family since my female lead for book seven is Lennox Wilkins, Drake’s little sister, who was first mentioned in Challenged By You, LITC, #5. Cash finally gets his radio interview with her! Lastly, Changed By You (LITC, #7) is the longest book in the series and spans the length of an entire year. So like I said, the whole gang is getting a happily ever after, including an epilogue that gives readers a glimpse into their futures. If you haven’t already, please add Changed By You (LITC, #7) to your To Be Read list today! I would also suggest re-reading the previous Love in the City books for a refresher, because I’m not going to lie, I nearly had Paige pregnant for 15 months whilst writing this book so I needed a refresher myself! If you reread them, please let me know in the comments or tag me on social media so we can swoon, laugh, cry, and smile together!

If you’re wondering what I’ve been up to the last eight years, I thought I would include some life updates for all of you below! Please let me know in the comments what you’ve been up, too! I hope you’re all doing well and your To Be Read lists are continuously growing!
- 2018 – got another Labrador puppy named, Gauge, a week after releasing Inspired By You (LITC, #6). Gunner hated him for at least two months.
- 2019 – got an Apple Watch and now I feel naked if I don’t have it on.
- 2020 – I bought a house and have never felt more terrified in my life.
- 2020 – my niece was born!
- 2021 – another niece was born!
- 2022 – Gunner died on July 1st, may my sweet boy rest in peace! He gave me 12 amazing years. He was also terrified of fireworks, so I was grateful he passed right before the holiday.
- 2023 – finally paid off my student loans (very liberating, a thousand stars, highly recommend)!
- 2024 – had to file my first homeowners insurance claim (zero stars, adulting isn’t fun sometimes)!
- 2025 – my nephew was born! My dad had both his knees replaced and then retired from his job of 45+ years! I was furloughed from my full-time job for 43 days (government shutdowns are also not fun).
- 2026 – my mom retired from working in the school district for 30+ years! I gave my 15-year-old car to my oldest niece and bought myself something newer (very grateful I was able to help get her some wheels). I finally got my shit together and finished the damn book!
Yay! I think that’s all for now! When I have more Cash Donovan/Love in the City news, I will be sure to share! In the meantime, happy reading!
XO,
Steph
